Óptica Vision Lorca has donated a total of 80 anti-fog chamois for healthcare professionals who work with CoVid patients19 at the Rafael Méndez Hospital in the City of Sol and who wear prescription glasses.
Fina Bayonas and Ana Rosa Alcázar, owners of the establishment, explain that they have wanted to contribute their grain of sand with this gesture in this health crisis that we are going through.
In this way, they explain that some health professionals “suffer from fogging of their prescription glasses while they are working, when wearing protective glasses.
That is why, as vision professionals, we decided to donate these special chamois made for this type of circumstance â€.
"This type of chamois will allow them not to have to take off their protective glasses to clean theirs, every time they get cloudy or dirty, thus assuming an unnecessary risk," explain Bayonas and Alcázar, who add, "we know that there are other deficiencies "Surely much more important, but we also know that a clear vision will help all our professionals (doctors, nurses and all the assistants) to better perform their work.
And it is that, with the hygiene measures so strict that the health professionals keep, they are obliged to not be able to wear contact lenses, hence Vision Lorca has considered donating these special chamois.
This type of cleaning wipe (suede) keeps the prescription glasses about eight hours without fog and they have approximately 200 uses of useful life.
Its use is simple: with the lens completely dry, the suede is passed on both sides of the lens and that's it.
The secret is in the suede fabric itself, which should not be washed, so that it does not lose that anti-fog property.
"Above all, we want to convey our encouragement and admiration to all the professionals who are behaving like true heroes.
We want to recognize and support the important work they are doing.
All together we will get out of this situation â€, underline the owners of ÓpticaVisión Lorca.
