The Councilor for Youth of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has reported the increase in the provision of services as well as the reconversion of the forms of care for young people in the municipality. Ponce explained that "since the state of alarm due to the Coronavirus began, from the Department of Youth we have maintained our services and our volume of consultations adapting ourselves to the situation and having changed replacing face-to-face attention to the use of telephone and telematic channels". El Edil has detailed that "global statistics show that 468 queries have been received, with the media chosen through our social networks being 66 percent, 19 percent via email and the rest by telephone since queries have been resolved through the personal WhatsApp channel of the technicians attending to the extraordinary situation including weekends and extending unusual hours sensitive to the state and emotional need.
