The Councilor for Finance of the Lorca City Council, Isidro Abellán, has indicated that after the approval in the extraordinary plenary session of the Plan of economic and social measures against the effects of COVID-19, next week the bases will be approved by the Government Board with the requirements to access aid for businesses, hoteliers and all those companies and freelancers affected by the health crisis. The mayor of the Treasury has indicated that "the intention is to streamline this whole process and that, in an easy and fast way, all interested parties can access all the information, as well as present the necessary documentation that allows them to benefit from the aid put into March". Isidro Abellán recalled that "up to 1 million euros will be mobilized from the City Council for these grants, which will be arbitrated through a 'Municipal Fund for Aid to Self-Employed and Companies' of up to € 500 for companies and freelancers who carry out their activities among the that they have been obliged to suspend their opening to the public during the state of alarm, and up to € 350 specific for companies and the self-employed who are dedicated to sale in the weekly market and supply squares ".
