Ten complaints have been filed for unauthorized interprovincial movements and another ten for not respecting the number of occupants and the mandatory use of a mask in public transport.

The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported the arrest of two people, within the surveillance and control actions established to comply with the conditions of PHASE 1 de-escalation and relaxation of decreed measures during the state of alarm to face the sanitary crisis by COVID-19. The Councilor for Citizen Security has detailed that the first of the arrests for the crime of attack and resistance was carried out on the afternoon of this past Sunday, May 17, when Local Police officers observed an individual with strong alcoholic intoxication that he intended start driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Said subject, after being required for identification and deposition of his attitude, began a violent attack against the agents, throwing punches and kicking them, having to be reduced and detained for the facts.
The serious and unpleasant circumstance occurred that, during the struggle, the individual repeatedly spat at the agents of the Authority, while shouting that he wanted to infect them with the virus that caused the current pandemic.
He was finally arrested,instructing the corresponding measures on the facts for its judicial provision. José Luis Ruiz Guillén explained that the second arrest took place early Monday, May 18, when one of the devices established to monitor the transport of agricultural workers found that a van was carrying more passengers than authorized.
When checking with the driver, it was detected that he did not have a driving license of any kind and that he was in an irregular situation in Spain.
Therefore, he was detained and was instructed to carry out proceedings for a crime against road safety, which will be transferred to the Judicial Authority, being in charge of the immigration service for the appropriate procedures in this matter. In addition, the Councilor for Citizen Security has highlighted that "among the tasks aimed in particular at the transport of passengers to check both the number of travelers and the mandatory use of a mask, as well as for the observance of time slots for activities and ages, distance interpersonal, terrace activity, among others, several complaints have been filed.
" Specifically, due to unauthorized interprovincial displacements, a dozen complaints have been overcome at the controls at the train and bus stations in the urban area and districts for people with displacements from outside the province of Murcia who could not prove justification for this displacement to the Once they were required to return to their province of origin, they were once made aware of the sanction for said breach. Regarding regulations on public transport, Ruiz Guillén has indicated that a dozen complaints have been made for breaching conditions such as the number of occupants and mandatory use of a mask, "although this is a lower percentage, there have been times when that it has been necessary to evict certain passengers after being denounced since, concurring with the obligation to use a mask, they did not do so nor did they carry it ". On the other hand, the Councilor for Citizen Security has highlighted that "thanks to local police surveillance operations, unauthorized behavior has been verified in recent days by certain individuals who have carried out alcohol consumption on public roads and others who have jumped to tracks of schools without authorization, all of them being denounced for such practices ". With regard to the opening of terraces, "the Local Police has intensively operated to ensure that the start of these activities is carried out in compliance with the regulations on the state of alarm and without the occurrence of crowds, with the result that only two premises have had to be denounced for failing to comply with the operating conditions of the terraces ", Ruiz Guillén remarked. Lastly, the mayor reiterated that "with these relevant interventions the constant work carried out by the Local Police of Lorca is confirmed, through the different units in which it is organized and in the aspects of prevention and operational response, during the term of the measures decreed by the state of alarm for health crisis Covid-19 ".
