These instruments, together with 1,300 test strips, will be incorporated into the diabetes control system routinely performed in Health Area III. The councilors of Health and Oenegés of the Lorca City Council, José Ángel Ponce and María Dolores Chumillas, have attended the donation of glucose meters and test strips that ADILOR has made to Area III of Health and that has been received by the area manager Enrique Casado. The Councilor for Health explained that "the President of the Association of Diabetics of Lorca and its region (ADILOR), Juan Francisco Perán, has delivered 130 glucometers and more than a thousand test strips to the health centers of the municipality of Lorca ". Ponce has detailed that "this material, which the Association of Diabetics of Lorca and its region has wanted to donate, as a way to collaborate to help within this crisis caused by covid-19, will be incorporated into the material that area III uses in the framework of its diabetes control system that has been carried out in the different health centers of the municipality ". The Edil has indicated that "these glucometers will be destined, under strict prescription of the health professionals of each of the health centers, for the follow-up tasks of patients diagnosed with type II diabetes". For his part, the manager of the III health area has expressed his appreciation "for the special collaboration and willingness of the group of diabetics in Lorca and the region, who have once again shown their commitment and solidarity also due to this crisis derived from this global pandemic.

" A thank you that the councilors of Lorca City Council have also reiterated, highlighting "once again, the solidarity and the great work that ADILOR has been doing for the community".
