| To help reactivate commercial activity | The badge will certify that the establishment applies the sanitary protocols established in the Good Practices Guide of the Secretary of State for TradeThe Deputy Mayor of Lorca and Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Morales and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lorca, Juan Francisco Gómez, have reported the launch of an initiative to reactivate commercial activity. This reactivation is essential to start the recovery of the economy after the hiatus imposed by the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, for which it is essential that customers trust that the establishments offer a safe environment. For this reason, the Lorca Chamber of Commerce, together with the Spanish Chamber and the network of territorial Chambers, launch the "Trusted Commerce" seal, which certifies that businesses comply with the health and safety protocols established in the Protocol and Good Practice Guide of the Secretary of State for Commerce. In the case of Lorca, the City Council of Lorca is incorporated into this initiative, through the Department of Economy, Industry, Commerce, Crafts and Public Companies, assuming the cost of the adhesives shown in the shop window. The Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Morales, has stated that "this seal will transmit confidence to customers and will strengthen sales by merchants through a secure purchase; this initiative is a clear example of the great collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry de Lorca and the City Council of our municipality ". For his part, the president of the Lorca Chamber of Commerce, Juan Francisco Gómez, stressed that "commerce is making an enormous effort to adapt to new circumstances to continue offering quality and service as always with the maximum guarantees for your customers.
When a consumer sees this stamp in a shop window, they will know that they are entering a trustworthy business " With a simple and fast electronic procedure to provide the required documentation and a responsible declaration of having prepared the corresponding Protocol of action in the field of safety and hygiene, the business will obtain a badge that will accredit the customers that the establishment meets the standards to provide a safe shopping experience. The Chambers of Commerce may carry out random verifications after the issuance of the certificate to verify compliance with the Protocol presented by the company, which must be updated based on developments that may be introduced in the Protocol and Guide to Good Practice of the Secretary of State for Commerce. This initiative comes in addition to other actions of the Chamber of Lorca in support of commercial activity, one of the most affected by the crisis.
In addition to the "We are waiting for you" campaign, launched with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism with the aim of promoting trade in the de-escalation process, the Spanish Chamber and its network of territorial Chambers are working on a reorientation of its Retail Trade Competitiveness Support Plan, which includes direct aid for business.
