Since the Department of Local Development launched, in November, the WhatsApp number 639156234 to easily and quickly transfer incidents to the brigade, more than 3,500 messages have been received. The Councilor for Local Development of the Lorca City Council, Isabel Casalduero, has taken stock of the actions carried out by the Rapid Intervention Brigade, BIR, during the last year. Casalduero has reported "the more than 800 interventions that the Rapid Intervention Brigade has carried out, from June 2019 to June 2020, on the different public roads throughout the municipality of Lorca as well as the more than 200 requests sent by our citizens, who did not correspond directly to this service and who have been referred to the corresponding departments to solve the requirement and these transfers of the actions are indicated to the interested parties.

" The mayor explained that "in addition, this month, the Department of Local Development has reinforced this rapid intervention service with four masonry officers, a locksmith officer and a technical engineer of works, all of them belonging to the local public employment program" . Casalduero Jódar recalled that "last November we improved the communication system by making available to our neighbors a number of WhatsApp to easily and quickly transfer incidents to this brigade." The Councilor for Local Development has remarked that "more and more citizens are collaborating with this municipal service, sending us a photo of the incident and its location.

An initiative that has been very well received since its launch, during these seven months, we have received more than 3,500 messages.

" Isabel Casalduero has revealed that "we continue to promote and publicize the Rapid Intervention Brigade because our objective is to keep our urban area and our districts in perfect condition through the requests and participation of our citizens, giving them a voice , because we understand that it is they who know best what is necessary to improve the day to day life of Lorca ".
