The Paso Blanco Board of Directors ratified yesterday the only candidacy presented to the presidency of the brotherhood.

This is the candidacy of Mr.

Ramón Mateos Padilla, which must be submitted for approval by the General Assembly. However, given the recommendations received from the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions of the Ministry of Health, due to the covid-19 outbreak that arose in Lorca in recent days, the Paso Blanco with full responsibility and in collaboration with the health authorities , suspends the Extraordinary General Assembly of Ratification / Proclamation of the only candidacy presented to the Presidency of the Paso Blanco, scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2020 and postpones it to Sunday, September 6, 2020, if sanitary circumstances allow it. Said Extraordinary General Assembly scheduled for September 6, will maintain the same hours and the same sanitary-hygienic security measures as the suspended Assembly. Sole candidate for the presidency Graduated in Economic and Business Sciences and graduated in Law, Ramón Mateos Padilla has been working as an economist since 1994 with his own office in Lorca, first as a natural person and then through the professional society Ramón Mateos Consultores, SLP. Since 2009 he has also made his activity as an economist compatible with that of Bankruptcy Administrator appointed by the Commercial Courts of Murcia to manage bankruptcies throughout the Region of Murcia. He is a steward of the Paso Blanco from his birth, collaborating in the Chapel and later in the ship's wardrobe commission.

In 1995 he joined the Board of Directors of Agustín Aragón Villodre as a member of the economic commission. In 2001 he was appointed economic vice president, holding this position on the Boards of Directors of Ramón Mateo Paredes and Juan Andrés Ibáñez Vilches. From 2014 to the present, he has been Vice President on the Board of Directors of Lázaro Soto Muñoz.

In addition, he is the Mayordomo Mayor de la Virgen since 2017. At the Santo Domingo Foundation, he has held the positions of accountant for the Foundation since 2001 and trustee since 2007.

He is currently treasurer of the Foundation.
