The Government Team works to recover the hundreds of spaces dedicated to parking vehicles that were destroyed in the municipality due to previous projects, taxes and lack of neighborhood participation. The Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, together with the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Companies, Francisco Morales, have visited the work to prepare a site for use as a parking lot. Mateos explained that "in order to continue fulfilling one of the objectives of this Government Team, the recovery of parking spaces in our municipality, we are carrying out the conditioning work on this central 600-square-meter solar, located next to a from the main arteries of Lorca, Avenida Juan Carlos I ". The First mayor stressed that "thanks to this execution we will be able to generate 24 new parking spaces that will be available to both Lorca and visitors, as they will be regulated under the ORA ordinance". Diego José Mateos recalled that "we are not only adapting this site as a public car park since, in the last year, we have also managed to create more than a thousand parking spaces in spaces such as the Alfonso X neighborhood, on the Camino Marín, in the near the Lorca-Sutullena Health Center and the National Police Station or at the Rafael Méndez Hospital itself.
