The Museum has adopted all the hygienic and sanitary measures that guarantee the safety of its visitors and has organized individual visits for which, in addition, it has designed a unique itinerary. The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, has reported the reopening this coming Monday, August 10, of the Municipal Archaeological Museum. Mazuecos explained that "the Lorca Museum reopens its doors after the precautionary closure of various municipal spaces on July 27, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 detected in our municipality." The mayor has detailed that "as a novelty, during this month of August the Museum will open every day, from Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm to continue being one of the cultural insignia of Lorca." Mazuecos Moreno has insisted that "going to the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Lorca is a safe visit because all hygienic and safety measures have been adopted to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and, to access its facilities, it is necessary to comply with the measures of safety distance, use of mask and hydroalcoholic gel ". The Councilor for Culture has shown that "in addition, visits will continue to be individual, except in the case of family units or accompanied dependents, and the capacity has been reduced by designing a single itinerary". María Ángeles Mazuecos has encouraged Lorca and visitors to enjoy a Museum that houses important samples of archaeological collections from Prehistory and History of the municipality, 30,000 years ago, until the end of the Middle Ages.
