The mayor of Pedanías, Antonio Navarro, has detailed that "of the total of this investment, about 200,000 euros correspond to the work carried out to alleviate the damage caused to these infrastructures by DANA in September 2019". The councilor of Pedanías of the City Council of Lorca, Antonio Navarro, has reported on the work that is being carried out in the municipality of Lorca within this management area for the arrangement, maintenance and improvement of roads and highways that run through our term municipal". The councilor of Pedanías has detailed that "these tasks are aimed at the correct maintenance and cleaning of these infrastructures; to which are added the repair of the damages caused by the torrential rains of the DANA of September 2019 and April of this year ". Antonio Navarro explained that "more than 126,000 euros have been allocated, during the last year, among others, for the arrangement of the crossing of the Camino de Vera in the Rambla del Murciano at a cost of 14,000 euros; the Barranco del Borruezo road; in the path of the 'Bar X'; from the Cuesta Los Ratones and a patch in Torrecilla for which 2,300 euros have been allocated; on the Rambla Boguera de Bejar at a cost of 3,600 euros, Navarro Pérez explained that "to all these works must be added other extraordinary works that have been carried out in different parts of the municipal area with a cost of more than 6,000 euros and that, among others, have consisted of tree pruning in La Torrecilla and Puntas Calnegre; treatment and cleaning of grass on the Águilas and Ramonete road; clearing and cleaning of gutters in La Escarihuela, Ctra.
Campo López (Aguaderas), El Rubio road, Viejo del Puerto road, Vera road with more than 3,000 euros of investment, more than 4,000 euros for the work carried out on the La Parada road and 2,000 on the Riego Velopache road; also on the Camino Molino bike lane, in Tercia; patching on the roads of the Torrecilla district with a higher investment at 2,300 euros and in several more crosses; jobs in Morata,La Parroquia and Ramonete, among others ". Navarro Pérez has specifically referred to the work carried out in the Almendricos district where improvements have been made on the Camino Vera to the district, on the way of the Port, in the one of Guerreros, Ermita Redón, in the one of Sierra de Almendricos and in the Escollera of this district, with a total cost that exceeds 4,000 euros ". The councilor of Pedanías has also referred to the work carried out from this management area to alleviate the damages caused by DANA in September last year, which amounted to more than 200,000 euros, for, among others, the repair of roads and highways , as well as to restore services "and has carried out some of these tasks such as the repair of the access road to the International Beach Volleyball Center, for which more than 1,000 euros were allocated and cleaning of gutters on the Old Port road", in addition to all those referring to the floods of last April and that caused damage, among others, to roads and highways in the areas of Campillo, Torrecilla and La Campana. Finally, the mayor has insisted that "these actions are continued to maintain the roads and highways, which are used by neighbors on a daily basis, in the best conditions, since it is a continuous work, attending to the needs and demands of the residents of the different districts with whom we maintain direct contact through the pedan mayors ".
