José Ángel Ponce highlights that "that this new tool, launched by the Government of Spain, is already integrated in communities such as Andalusia, Extremadura or Castilla y León, among others, to which the Region of Murcia will join from today, where digital tracking will also be active.

" The Councilor for Health of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has reported the entry into operation, this Wednesday, August 26, of the Covid 19 tracking application, known as Radar Covid, launched by the Government of Spain , through the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation for mobile phones, and thanks to which we can communicate or receive notifications on our mobile of coronavirus infections. The Councilor for Health recalled that "this new digital tracking tool will warn us of a possible risk contact", for this reason he has encouraged "all Lorca residents to download it on their mobiles with the aim, on the one hand, of helping together to control the spread of this pandemic and on the other not to endanger our health ". José Ángel Ponce highlighted "the technological commitment of the Government of Spain with this application since it is clear that all possible human and material means are necessary so that the number of virus infections can be contained and, without a doubt, we are sure that this app and its proper use will help reduce the impact of the pandemic, helping to facilitate the tracking of positive cases " Ponce Díaz has reiterated that "all the information that appears in the application is anonymous, and the citizen can communicate his positive, for this he will only have to press the button with that option that appears on the main screen and enter the code that carries the diagnosis of the PCR test.

From there, information with instructions to follow will be sent to potential contacts.

" Ponce Díaz has detailed that the application can be downloaded for both mobile devices on Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.gob.radarcovid, and on iOS (https: // apps .apple.com / en / app / radar-covid / id1520443509) ". Regarding the operation through this application, mobile devices that we have nearby are detected, at a distance of up to two meters and for 15 minutes, obtaining the codes of the other mobile and transferring the necessary information.
