The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has detailed that "from the Consistory we want to collaborate with the provision of municipal facilities, the distribution of masks among schoolchildren, as well as with the distribution of hydroalcoholic gels and control by the figure of the Guardian Police of the accesses to the schools ". The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos and the Councilor for Education, Antonia Pérez, have detailed, this morning, some of the measures adopted by the Government team within the municipal contingency plan with which to guarantee safety when returning to the classrooms from this next September. The mayor of Lorca explained that "these measures will complement those adopted by the rest of the administrations and educational authorities, and will be carried out with the aim of collaborating with the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community, which we remember, is who has the competences in this matter ". Diego José Mateos has indicated that "from the City Council we are going to make available around 15,000 masks for children and adolescents and that they will be distributed among schools according to the needs they have, so that everyone can have this mandatory element that is the mask.Also, within our possibilities, from the Consistory we are collecting hygiene products such as hydroalcoholic gels for hand disinfection that will be made available to the different educational centers, with which we will also collaborate for the marking of new entry and exit areas to these facilities, in accordance with current regulations for this Covid-19 pandemic ". Mateos has detailed that to "coordinate access to educational centers, the Local Police of the municipality will continue to be counted on, through such an important figure in road safety education as the Tutor Police.
The agents will be in charge of ensuring that both the entry and exit from educational centers should always be carried out following health recommendations and that no crowds occur either at the beginning or at the end of the educational day ". Regarding cleaning, the Mayor has reiterated that "this is one more important aspect if possible in these times of coronavirus, and in which more must be influenced for the tranquility of the entire educational community, for that reason they are going to reinforce cleaning tasks, especially in places such as bathrooms and others of greater use, as well as with municipal personnel assigned to the different centers, who will carry out two disinfections of the playgrounds every day ". Mateos has reiterated that "our main intention continues to be that the children of our municipality, who are our future, despite the situation in which we find ourselves, can resume their educational activity in the best possible conditions and with all the guarantees.

". Coordinated actions between the Government and the CCAA for educational centers On the other hand, the Mayor has highlighted the agreement reached between the Government and the Autonomous Communities with coordinated actions in Public Health against COVID-19 for educational centers.
A document, he recalled, "which includes the need to take up the face-to-face educational activity as a priority, adopting a series of prevention, hygiene and health promotion measures that guarantee the safe return to the classroom" . It is a matter in which all administrations must make a great effort, putting all of our part, each one, that yes, to the extent of our possibilities and according to our level of responsibility and competence.
