| Of the 489 new cases of COVID-19 in the Region of Murcia, 83 correspond to Lorca | The Regional Government has announced that the number of active coronavirus infections is 8,549 in the Region of Murcia, of which 363 are admitted to hospitals in the autonomous community, 66 of them in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).That means that the number of infected has increased by 98 people compared to yesterday; the number of hospitalized falls by 13 people compared to yesterday.In addition, there are 12 fewer people in the ICU than yesterday.In total, since the start of the pandemic in the Region there have been 23,613 confirmed positives of COVID-19, that is, 489 more than yesterday.Thus, the Region of Murcia registers more than 400 cases after two consecutive days with a lower figure.Of the 489 new cases,119 correspond to the municipality of Murcia,83 to Lorca,35 to Cartagena,28 to Totana,21 to Jumilla,17 to Molina de Segura,16 to Aguilas,14 to Abanilla,14 to Fortuna,14 to Torre Pacheco,12 to Sewer,11 to Archena,11 to Las Torres de Cotillas,10 to Cieza,10 to Yecla,9 to San Javier,8 to Mule,7 to Alhama de Murcia,7 to Caravaca de la Cruz,6 to Puerto Lumbreras.The rest are distributed among various locations.In addition, there have been 2 deaths, so there are 222 deaths with coronavirus in the community.They are two men, 69 and 78 years old, from Molina de Segura and Totana.On the other hand, the people cured are 13,134, 389 more than yesterday.
