The Councilor for Contracting of the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán, reported on the beginning, this Wednesday, with the previous actions, of the works for the construction of a consolidation wall between Gregorio García street and Portijico street, in the San Cristobal. Isidro Abellán explained that "this Wednesday took place, on this site, the raising of the corresponding act of stakeout, a document that marks the beginning of these works and in which measurements are made between the technicians responsible for the company and the technicians construction managers appointed by the Administration, in this case by the Lorca City Council ". Abellán has announced that "by next week the machines will be working on this site, which will mean solving an issue that has been entrenched for many years, which the current government team has had to adjudicate after several years of procedures and the development of several projects that were not able to be carried out and put into operation, something that the current government team has done ". The mayor of Contracting has recalled that "the planned action has a budget of 117,000 euros and a period of execution of these works will be three months from yesterday, Wednesday, October 7".
