Juan Miguel Aledo, Isabel Mart nez Garc a and Mar a Campoy have been the first three classified of the total of 76 that have participated in this contest, whose objective was to encourage citizen participation in the decoration of lights and ornaments of buildings, to contribute to the festive atmosphere in the streets and promote creativity.

The Councilors for Culture and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, Mar a ngeles Mazuecos and Jos ngel Ponce, have reported on the winners of the 'I Christmas Contest to decorate balconies and windows 2020', organized by the Lorca Town Hall.

The Councilor for Culture recalled that "the objective of this contest was to encourage citizen participation in the decoration of lights and Christmas decorations on balconies and windows of the buildings, in order to contribute to the festive atmosphere in the streets of Lorca, as well as promoting creativity ".

Mar a ngeles Mazuecos has detailed that "the winners have been Juan Miguel Aledo, with the first prize, who will receive a Led Samsun 43 television" and two season passes for the Guerra de Lorca Theater; Isabel Mart nez Garc a, second prize, awarded with a 64 GB Galaxy Tablet, and two tickets for Holy Week in Lorca; and Mar a Campoy, third place, to whom corresponds an LG 32 / 3GB smartphone, as well as two tickets for the 2021 fair concerts ".

The three winners received their awards, this afternoon, in Plaza de España, before the concert of the international B Vocal Group.

For his part, the mayor of Festejos has pointed out that "there have been 76 total participants with Christmas-themed decorations, which, as a requirement, among others, had to be visible from the street and installed from day one December 11 to January 6, both inclusive ".

The jury, which has designated the winning decorations has been made up of members of the City Council, who went to visit all the participating balconies and windows, once the ten best were selected, through the photographs sent in the registration of the contest.

And it has recognized originality, design, lighting, as well as Christmas decorations made with recycled material and use of alternative energy.

Finally, the Councilors for Culture and Celebrations thanked all "the participants for the grain of sand they have contributed to give a Christmas atmosphere to our streets, in sanitary circumstances like the ones we are going through." function { ;(, , {});}
