The mayor of Citizen Security, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, has detailed that "in the last week the complaints have increased for not respecting the curfew, the traffic restrictions and the breach of capacity of premises and the schedule closing of premises ".
The Councilor for Citizen Security of the Lorca City Council, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, has taken stock of the actions carried out by the Local Police of Lorca during the past week, between December 28 and January 3 , for the correct compliance with the measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The Councilor for Citizen Security has detailed "that a total of 46 controls have been carried out, 327 people have been identified and 236 vehicles have been controlled." Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n has detailed that "a total of 182 sanctions have been filed, among which 70 stand out for not respecting the curfew, of which 48 have occurred this past weekend; 64 for breach of the mandatory use of masks, 38 on weekends; 17 on Protection of Citizen Safety; 15 for not respecting traffic restrictions; 9 for excess of occupants in vehicles; seven for non-compliance with capacity in premises , allow consumption in the bar and not respect the closing hours and six others for violation of the Ordinance of Citizen Coexistence ".
The mayor has indicated that "in addition, another 11 complaints have been sent to the Provincial Traffic Headquarters related to crimes against road safety, for which seven people have been arrested." The municipality responsible for Citizen Security has referred to some of the issues that have been addressed by the Local Police in recent days, such as the case of a robbery with violence, in which the perpetrators were located and the stolen objects were recovered and returned to their owner.
Ruiz Guill n explained that "within the total of sanctions and due to the device for the surveillance of terraces and public spaces, a total of 15 complaints have been made in the vicinity of Plaza Calder n de la Barca for not using mask or use it incorrectly, a complaint for consumption of alcoholic beverages in public and another complaint for urination in the public.
" In addition, during the ordinary New Year's Eve service, two venues were sanctioned during the afternoon for breach of the 18-21 hours closing; A total of 10 sanctions were carried out for not using the mask both indoors and in public; five for drinking in public; and another for disrespectful and disparaging comments to law enforcement officials.
At 1:25 a.m., a notice of complaints about excess capacity was attended in a bar located in the San Crist bal neighborhood, which had to be evicted and 25 people were counted inside who were dancing, consuming and without a mask .
All attendees were identified and 20 people were reported for breach of curfew, inside an establishment open to the public, which was also closed and sanctioned for failing to comply with the closing hours of premises and allow the presence of 15 people inside.
The notice of a neighbor was also attended to, who at 10:30 p.m.
reported complaints that a group of young people not residing in the building were inside the elevator causing damage.
Once there, the agents verified that the neighbors themselves were with these young people inside the gate, who proceeded to identify and notify their parents.
At that same time, the Police had to intervene in another place located in Avenida de Portugal, where a person in a very aggressive attitude was beating customers and employees, the agents intercepted the individual inside the establishment they detained and transferred to dependencies of the National Police Corps.
Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n has insisted that "we continue to carry out controls in those usual areas for the practice of 'bottles' or the consumption of alcohol in the public street, as well as to attend to the complaints that are could be caused by the holding of parties at homes and the vigilance for the correct fulfillment of the sanitary measures against Covid-19 in the terraces of the hotel establishments ".
Finally, the councilor has reiterated "the need for each Lorca and Lorca to continue to respect each of the measures, because it is in our power to reduce infections to a minimum" and has insisted that "we will continue to carry out work of surveillance and control so that sanitary norms are respected that allow us to continue reducing the number of infections ".
