The mayor of the Environment of Lorca, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, has detailed some of the previous actions included in this new Order, which comes into force today, such as the presentation of a Responsible Declaration of the holder of exploitation, as well as a technical report issued by an advisor in Integrated Pest Management registered in the Official Register of Producers and Operators of phytosanitary defense means.

The Councilor for the Environment of the City of Lorca, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, has reported on the Order published yesterday by the Autonomous Community by means of which the burning of stubble and other plant remains from pruning, except for accredited phytosanitary reasons to prevent the spread of pests, therefore this activity is subject to greater administrative control, and whose measures come into effect today Wednesday.

The councilor for the Environment has detailed the previous actions that must be carried out for the purposes of this Order published by the Autonomous Community, such as the presentation of a Responsible Declaration of the owner of the exploitation, as well as a technical report issued by a consultant in Integrated Pest Management registered in the Official Register of Producers and Operators of phytosanitary defense means.

Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n has added that "as stated in the order, said technical report must compulsorily collect the data of the owner of the plot; the SIGPAC references and place; surface; date inspection; cultivation and harmful organism detected; reasoned justification of controlled burning "in situ" as the only phytosanitary measure to eliminate the existing risk; description of the neighboring crops that could be affected by the presence of harmful organisms Report to be submitted to the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment in order to prove the existence of phytosanitary risk due to the spread of pests and the impossibility of their disposal by alternative systems.
