The Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Lorca, Mar�a �ngeles Mazuecos, has announced the suspension of face-to-face activities at municipal facilities due to the increase in COVID cases.
Mazuecos has explained that "due to the increase in COVID-19 cases that is being registered in our municipality, the mayor of Lorca, Diego Jos� Mateos, decreed the closure of non-essential municipal facilities and, therefore, from the Council of Culture we have proceeded to close the public provisionally, during the next seven days, the Archaeological Museum, the Municipal Archive, the Popular University, the School of Plastic Arts and the Municipal School of M�sica ".
The mayor has detailed that "in addition, the exhibition rooms have been closed, as well as the Huerto Ruano and Palacio de Guevara.
On the other hand, the administrative work in the facilities will continue, with the registration period for courses at the Popular University ".
The Councilor for Culture has specified that "meanwhile, the face-to-face activity of the Adult School continues normally since it depends on the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and this � Organ maintains presence in its classes ".
Mar�a �ngeles Mazuecos has insisted that "the citizens of Lorca must continue to show responsibility and solidarity and continue to comply with all health security measures to, as soon as possible, cut the chain of coronavirus infections that are being ½ producing in our municipality ".
