The Felipe VI Sports Complex has been enabled, in a pioneering way in the Region of Murcia, to carry out this vaccination process, establishing for this purpose a one-way route that leads to the reception, the vaccination room and waiting area.
The mayor of Lorca, Diego Jos� Mateos, together with the councilors of Health, Sports and Emergencies, Jos� �ngel Ponce, Irene J�dar and Isabel Casalduero, have supervised the day of vaccination of health workers of the ï ¿½rea 3 of Health.
Mateos explained that "this morning, we traveled to the Felipe VI Sports Complex to see first-hand the start of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 for health professionals who perform their work in Area 3 of Health: dentists, dentists, assistants, physiotherapists or gynecologists, among others ".
"In total, 960 people related to health who will be vaccinated between today and tomorrow in this municipal pavilion that from the Lorca City Council we have conditioned and made available to Public Health and the Council ¿½a de Salud to be able to carry out this vaccination process in an agile and safe way ".
The Mayor has detailed that "after studying the different infrastructures of our municipality, following the requirements of Public Health and also giving priority to accessibility and parking facilities, the Felipe VI Sports Complex has been selected and adapted to take carry out the vaccination ".
"A one-way route has been established, the beginning of which has been located by the entrance steps of the cafeteria where disinfectant footwear mats have been arranged.
Once inside the enclosure, with signs to keep the safety distance, you will reach the area enabled for the reception where the data of the attendees will be collected and their request for a previous appointment will be verified, which should have been made through the web page www.murciasalud.com, as well as the justification of health-type work activity in Health Area 3 ".
Mateos Molina has indicated that "once the data has been verified, access is made to the space set up for vaccination in which a dozen vaccination sets have been established that also have separation screens.
Once vaccinated, they will go to the observation area located in the stands of the main track of the pavilion and, after the waiting time established by the health authorities, they will be able to proceed through the side exit of the stands ".
"It should be remembered that the members of the Municipal Emergency and Civil Protection Service have provided technical support to coordinate the access protocol to the facilities and to contact all the health personnel practicing in Area 3 of Health professionals who They work in health-related clinics in Lorca as well as in the municipalities of �guilas, Totana, Puerto Lumbreras and Aledo, included in Area 3 of Health ".
The mayor of Lorca has highlighted that "the health personnel belonging to the City Council of Lorca has turned to this initiative and has also joined the vaccination tasks, joining the two medical teams planned for this process by the Murcian Health Service ".
