"| The mayor of the Socialists has not yet reported on the concrete use of the money that the Municipal Council theoretically should have spent to face the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to assist Lorca families and to the productive sectors of the municipality.
These accounts should have been treated with the transparency that Lorca deserve, but the reality is that everything remains hidden by decision of the current mayor, despite the fact that from the Popular Party we have demanded this information in writing .
In fact, the current mayor has not responded to the requirements he has on the table since last October.
Given the manifest lack of transparency of the mayor of the PSOE, and his repeated breaches of requests for information in this regard, on November 11 we were forced to present a new letter reiterating the request, expanding the request to to transfer the complete list of minor contract files.
On this new occasion, we demand that Mr.
Mateos be delivered to us such information as a matter of urgency, and we remind him that he is obliged to provide the full documentation in compliance with the law.
There was no response, the figures and data remain hidden.
On November 24, we insisted again on this matter before the mayor of the Socialists, taking the issue to the Plenary of the City Council, and we were told that in less than a week we would be given complete information on the matter.
Two months have passed and Mr.
Mateos continues to hide the information, and multiplying the doubts about what is happening.
We demand the transparency that people from Lorca deserve in this matter of special sensitivity, since we have officially requested the details of these expenses from Mr.
Mateos for several months, and we have not been given a single paper.
We want to know what is happening, why Mr.
Mateos does not want us to know the truth on this issue.

We will insist for a third party to provide us with a detailed, complete and complete list of all the expenses incurred, including a list of suppliers and / or manufacturers, contracting procedures, quantities, reason and justification.

We must say that, if we are not answered immediately, we will be forced to transfer this request for information to other instances, so that we can be delivered at once what they are deliberately withholding, because it is evident that the Mr.
Mateos is not respecting the right of the members of the municipal corporation to have the information necessary to exercise their functions.
They said in the month of May, for example, that they were going to give aid to merchants, hoteliers and self-employed workers for a total amount of one million euros, an amount that, in reality, was left in a pittance, reaching finally, barely a quarter of what was announced, and, to make matters worse, some of the beneficiaries have not yet received this "alms".
Where did the remaining 750,000 euros go? We have had to suffer for years and years a PSOE who went so far as to affirm that the city council was "making cash and making up the accounts" with the money from the earthquake.
We are not going to say such nonsense, we are serious, responsible and trustworthy people, and of course we are not going to tolerate the deceit of Lorca by offering facts and figures that do not reflect reality in press conferences for confuse public opinion.
