[The PP demands transparency so that it is reported immediately on whether any member of the current government team has been vaccinated against Covid-19 (21/01/2021)

Fulgencio Gil: "Why hasn't the PSOE closed the gaming halls in the regions it governs? We demand more control from the City Council, and the closure of all that do not comply, not only in this region, but throughout Spain " The Popular Party of Lorca has demanded that the current mayor clarify whether any member of the current municipal government has received the first dose of the Covid vaccine, given the need for information that public officials have in this sense.

It is no more than knowing if there is a councilor in the current government who has been administered the vaccine and has not expressed it after the events of the last few hours.

Fulgencio Gil has stated that yesterday a distinguished doctor, and one of the best advisers we have had in this region, paved the way for generosity, responsibility and exemplary behavior.

A controversy is closed, but we hope that the same yardstick will be applied to everyone. The case of the mayor of Molina is very significant, we will see if the PSOE applies the same yardstick with which it judges and condemns others.

Since the PSOE, the party that governs in Lorca despite losing the municipal elections, has put this matter on the table, we want to know if any member of the local corporation has been vaccinated, simply to have the information ½n.

Of course we have not.

We demand true involvement on the part of the current local government, which is not knowing how to respond effectively or with the necessary diligence to the questions that have to do with the pandemic.

In fact, it was the PP that proposed the start-up of the group of trackers, the installation of the Covid Point in Ifelor, the provision of HEPA filters in schools, and the preparation of municipal spaces as infrastructures to support the regional health system.

And the local government has always been in tow.

From the PP of Lorca we have already been advising the current mayor to have prepared the municipal facilities necessary for the possible installation of a field hospital that would allow to cushion the impact of Covid cases on our t if necessary.

Municipal area.

We have warned them on multiple occasions, because it is the City Council's obligation to respond to this type of eventuality, and they have had more than enough time to prepare the necessary infrastructures.

It is very good that public spaces are made available to the Ministry of Health, but this City Council can do much more.

We do not settle for empty pronouncements by the mayor of the PSOE.

Why hasn't the PSOE closed the gaming halls in the regions it governs? Now Mr.

Mateos wants to focus the whole problem on the gaming halls, but what is your local government doing to verify that these establishments comply? Mr.

Mateos has a multitude of administrative tools available through all municipal services to ensure that these businesses comply with the regulations, and that is what he should be doing continuously.

What Lorca demands are fewer words and more deeds.

Health measures have to be discussed with the health authorities, there is no use sending simplistic messages only to the media.

We want more, much more, because the city council has and can do more.

That is why we demand that control be carried to the maximum, that all premises that do not comply be closed, and not only here in the Region, but throughout Spain, counting on the involvement Pedro Snchez government, because we see that the PSOE is only concerned about what is happening in Murcia, but it has not closed these gaming halls in any of the regions in which it governs.

We want to prevent these measures from falling short and we are going to demand it in the next plenary session.

Mr.

Mateos, for example, told the gallery that he was going to seek consensus with the political parties on the case of the gaming halls, but he has done absolutely nothing.

He has not sought at any time to agree anything with the PP.

We do not like these places or the activities that take place inside, despite the fact that they are legal and we are particularly concerned about their proliferation.

But if we really want to do something positive for society, we have to bring serious, feasible and legal backing initiatives to the Plenary of the City Council.

Asking for them to be closed because I could be populist, but it gets us nowhere.
