The Councilor for Parks and Gardens of the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro, has reported the closure of municipal parks due to weather forecasts.

The Councilor for Parks and Gardens explained that "it is a precautionary decision that responds to the objective of protecting our neighbors since AEMET foresees strong gusts of wind that could reach 90 kilometers per hour in the Guadalentín Valley during the day today and, for tomorrow, gusts of wind of up to 70 kilometers per hour ".
Antonio Navarro has asked "citizenship to be careful and avoid, while the alert lasts, passing through wooded areas as well as spaces where landslides may occur due to gusts of wind." For her part, the Councilor for Emergencies, Isabel Casalduero, has reported that "the Municipal Emergency Service and Civil Protection have been working from the first hour on the removal of fallen branches that are occurring due to strong gusts of wind." Isabel Casalduero has once again recommended that "doors, windows and all those objects that may fall onto the public highway be secured; stay away from cornices, trees, walls or buildings under construction or cranes that may come off; exercise extreme precautions when driving, especially in the exit of tunnels, overtaking and crossing with heavy vehicles on two-way roads and, in maritime areas, try to get away from the beach and other low places that may be affected by the waves ".
