The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported on the interventions carried out, during this last week, by the Local Police of Lorca in the Torre Rojano de Lorca, located next to the Bakers' Pósito .
The Councilor for Citizen Security explained that "first, an intervention was made that consisted of an inspection in which it was found that, inside this building, classified as a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC), there was an old bicycle and a suitcase with belongings, in addition to two other similar bicycles.
" José Luis Ruiz Guillén added that "the agents interviewed a person who turned out to be the owner of all the items inside, so they proceeded to remove everything and inform him that it is a public building that is cannot make use of ".
Ruiz Guillén pointed out that "the next day an inspection was carried out in Torre Rojano and it was found that both the interior and the access to it were completely clean." The mayor of Citizen Security has detailed that "now we are working on changing the door of the building, which is in very bad condition and makes it impossible to close or place a padlock, and it will be replaced by a new one that prevents access to any unauthorized person ".
Finally, the councilor thanked the municipal group of Izquierda Unida Verdes for their concern and informed them that "this action, which they claim today, has been carried out by the Local Police for days and, surely, they have not been able to verify it if they have not visited the area.
