Diego José Mateos: "from this government team a project is being executed that was completely paralyzed, that had multiple difficulties and in which we have worked to recover so that families that more than 10 years ago had to leave their homes can get them back ".

The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, together with the councilors of Contracting and Urbanism, Isidro Abellán and José Luis Ruiz Guillén, have visited the stabilization works of the wall of Calle Portijico.

Mateos explained "this morning we visited an urgent and essential action such as the stabilization work on the wall and the slope located on García Gregorio street next to Portijico street." The Mayor has detailed that "the most laborious and complicated work of the action has already been carried out, such as the execution of the concrete wall itself, which will provide a stability that the connection of both routes has lacked for years." Mateos Molina has specified that "the action, which has a total amount of 94,585.70 euros, is already at 30 percent of its execution, and now the anchors remain to be executed, which are being rethought and the work is expected to end at of the month of February ".

The mayor of Lorca has indicated that "carrying out stabilization work on this wall has always been one of our objectives, with many occasions on which, from the opposition, we ask for the execution of this much-needed intervention, which has always been ignored , and that now from the municipal government we materialize ".

Diego José Mateos has shown that "one more example of the work that this Government team is executing a project that was completely paralyzed, that had multiple difficulties and in which we have worked to recover so that the families that do more 10-year-olds who had to leave their homes can safely recover them and, in addition, continue working on the renovation of both Calle Portijico and the adjacent streets, important roads that form the backbone of the San Cristóbal neighborhood.
