| Lorca's people have been able to reinvent themselves after 25 years of activity and face an economic crisis, an earthquake and the current pandemic | The program on economy, business and entrepreneurship 'Emprende' by Televisión Española this week dedicates an extensive report to the Lorca leisure and free time company Iniciativas el Gigante.
The space of the 24-hour channel of TVE, which makes a tour every week to make different entrepreneurs and their projects known, has been recorded at the company's headquarters, Calle Cueto, in addition to the warehouse they have in the Saprelorca industrial park and Corredera and Nogalte streets.
The director of the program and presenter, Juanma Romero, who has interviewed the manager of Iniciativas el Gigante, Francisco Perán Albarracín, has traveled to the Ciudad del Sol, who has recounted the vicissitudes they have had to face throughout the 25 years of the company's life, including an economic crisis, the May 2011 earthquake and the current pandemic situation.
The other partners of the company, Francisco Javier García Martínez and Toni Meseguer Almela, have spoken about the new projects in which they are immersed, the transformation of their school into an online academy; in addition to how they face these difficult moments of pandemic that entail the suspension of the planned celebrations.
The president of the Regional Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Lorca, Ceclor, Antonio García Díaz; and the director of the Ceip Virgen de las Huertas, Blas Jesús Martínez Rodríguez, also guests of the program, have highlighted the work of Iniciativas el Gigante in the business and associative fabric of the city and the transformation of the leisure activities that they have done to make it in something necessary in how many events are held not only in Lorca and the region, but throughout the Region.
Canal 24 hours will broadcast the program on Wednesday February 27 at 01:30 am.
