On the afternoon of Tuesday 29 June there was the traditional swimming festival organized by the Sports Council in collaboration with the Swimming Club Lorca, and that puts an end to the season of swimming courses are taught regularly since October in the indoor Sports Complex Europe.
A total of 100 children between 6 and 15 years.
In this competition was open to all those children who do not belong to any club or who were in possession of federal license.
There were many relatives and friends who came to witness the festival and that did not stop encouraging at all times.
The winners in various categories were:
- 2003 and younger women: Andrea Fernandez Molina.
- 2003 and younger men: Re Álvaro Pérez.
- 2002 Female: Andrea Piñero de Ayala.
- 2002 Male: Iván Guijarro Llamas.
- Year 2001femenino: María Rodríguez Mateo.
- 2001 Male: José Miguel García Martínez.
- 2000 women: Marta Flores Mayor.
- 2000 Male: David Perez Mulero.
- Year 99 female: Stephanie Martinez Guevara.
- Year 99 male: Francisco José Peña Molina.
- Year 98 women: Elena Zamora Montejano.
- Year 98 male: Adrian Guijarro Llamas.
- Year 97 female: Irene Garcia.
- Year 97 male: Pedro Javier López García.
- Year 96 female: Maria Caridad Martínez legs.
After the competition the participants received their diploma and a medal.
It is also necessary to highlight the performance of the group of swimmers synchronized swimming Swimming Club Lorca, with a combo, a duo and one closed the event.
In this way the completion of the swimming courses in the 2009-2010 season developed in the Sports Complex swimming pool in Europe, and are included in the area of Physical Activity and Health 2010 Programme of the Sports Department.
