Councilman Livestock Hall of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the Fairgrounds Huerto de la Rueda will host this weekend's celebration of the traditional Horse Fair Cruzado, which is expected to count with the presence of 350 copies .
Ruzafa Mecca has indicated that copies the entry begins this Saturday starting at 8 am and end at 13 hours.
For the entry procedure livestock owners must present the guide to the horses.
From the city council remind you that the entrance is free for both participants and visitors and their schedule will be Saturday from 8 am to 22 pm and Sunday from 8 until 18:00.
Councilman Livestock explained that this is the only fair where farmers are exempt from paying the fees, as a sign of support of the City to the promotion and development of the equine industry, because today our municipality account with the largest number of heads in the Region of Murcia.
This fair has a fully commercial profile and will be attended by farmers from all over Spain, with special emphasis in the provinces of Alicante, Almería, Granada and Albacete.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the President of the Association of Health Protection of Equine Livestock of Lorca, his Vocal, Francisco Ramon Ruiz, Eusebio Lopez, and Sepor Manager, Patri Bermudez.
A pony from 200 euros and a horse from 600
Mecca Angel explained that usual in this fair is to buy a pony from 200 euros and a horse with prices between 600 and 1,000 euros, although the crisis can make prices fall slightly compared to previous years.
Mecca has stressed that the Autonomous Community veterinarians certify that all copies are shown at the fair are disinfected and meet all sanitary requirements.
