Congress candidate Francisco Barnabas and Juan Maria Vazquez, and Senate candidate Fulgencio Gil visited the facilities of Ceramics Lario in Lorca, accompanied by the Mayor of the town, Francisco Jodar.

`Populares` candidates have stressed the importance of the craft sector as a tourist attraction and its contribution to economic movement of the region.

It is an artisan mode deeply rooted in the region of Guadalentín, which focuses on new technologies to take advantage of market opportunities while maintaining its essence.

The craftsmanship is of great importance for the region, as more than 2,200 companies engaged in this sector and employs about 8,000 people.
