The urban renewal project of the avenue Juan Carlos I and the adjacent spaces have come today to tender in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) for a total budget of 6.3 million euros and an execution period of 12 months.
This project is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure to the City of Lorca, entity assuming the execution of the works, and under the contracted by the Autonomous Community with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the reconstruction loan and repair of public spaces and infrastructure of Lorca after the earthquakes.
With this tender, it highlights the regional government's commitment to Lorca in the development of this project of social interest, since it is the commercial main road of the city and where much of their social activity takes place.
With the contract notice, interested parties are given the opportunity to participate in both the drafting of the construction project as the execution of the renovation of roads, public open spaces and green areas and infrastructure of urban services, Avenue Juan Carlos I and adjacent streets.
The planned works consist of construction of engineering structures, pipes for sewage, communication lines and power lines, roads, drainage of rainwater, engineering works and construction works and works street paving.
Interested parties may submit their bids until next July 12.
