The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, Satur Martinez reported that the city council has granted the license to run the repair and structural consolidation of the Palace of the Counts of San Julián, located in the historical district.
This is a property that was affected by the earthquakes of 2011 and whose rehabilitation has benefited from the aid provided by the Master Plan for the Recovery of Cultural Heritage of Lorca.
Satur Martinez said that "the license to proceed with structural intervention is given because of the damage caused by the earthquakes of May 11, 2011. Martinez stressed that "this is a building that was built as a family residence Pérez Mecca. The title of Count of San Julian was granted by Queen Elizabeth II to D.
