In response to several complaints from the residents of the area, the police force launched a process that culminated in the inspection of the premises.
Following that inspection, we proceeded to inform the Civil Guard to continue the investigation of a person for an alleged crime of drug trafficking and to denounce those responsible for the association for allowing the use of drugs and snuff on the premises.
The Councillor for Citizen Security in the city of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that members of the Unit for Prevention and Local Operational Response (UPROL) of the local police in our city have conducted an inspection at the local office of the Council De la Hoya where the headquarters of the Association of Young "Javier Cervantes".
As a result, one person was investigated for an alleged crime against public health, drug trafficking, and several people reported for drug substances and snuff.
Perez Martinez explained that an intervention is framed within the campaign to prevent criminal acts in the area of ​​districts that are carried out by the Local Police.
In this sense the council has indicated that "following information and complaints received from several residents of the deputation de la Hoya on possible anomalous actions being carried out in the association by several young men who came to her and where apparently, there was an unusual movement of people in night hours, the local police officers launched an investigation to verify the accuracy of such extremes that culminated with an inspection of the said Association. at the time of inspection to five young people were surprised that They were in possession of narcotic substances, being found even signs of possible traffic and consumption of these substances within the premises of the association, in addition to regular consumption of snuff. "
As a result of the inspection and the findings made, one person was investigated for an alleged crime of drug trafficking to be inside the premises cited several doses of narcotics, marijuana and hashish, packaged in individual doses and signs indicating that their destination was the sale for consumption of others.
He also proceeded to submit a complaint to the responsible of the association for allowing the consumption of drugs and snuff in that place.
After the above action, the agents of Local Police Lorca submitted the relevant proceedings to the Civil Guard Lorca to carry out the necessary investigations in order to determine the possible criminal relevance of the facts and for bringing to justice of the people involved.
