The Chorus and Dance Group Virgen de las Huertas Lorca continues his tour of Spain.
It will be one of the participating groups FESTIFALK'16 in the XXIV International Festival of Folklore of Alcala de la Selva, in the province of Teruel, held from 19 to 21 August.
Lorquina participation of this group, alongside countries such as Slovakia, Argentina, Bangladesh, Russia, Senegal, Colombia and Paraguay and Spain (Murcia and Aragon) serve to give value once again the traditions and customs of the city of Lorca.
In this festival they will present the rich heritage of dances that are conserved throughout the municipality, in addition to their craft with a representation of lorquino embroidery and other traditional pottery.
The Group of Songs and Dances Virgen de las Huertas Lorca has had a very active summer represented the municipality and turn to the Region of Murcia in various events that have led the National Folklore Festival City Arnedo in La Rioja and the Festival Children's Folklore "New Place" in Argamasilla de Alba (Ciudad Real), this time represented by the smallest of the association.
Lorquina Group continues its activity in the coming weeks with the organization of the International Folklore Festival Virgen de las Huertas to be held within the program of Feria Lorca 2016 Girl who will be this year its twenty-seventh edition.
