He indicated that this vehicle is not only designed to meet the needs of natural disasters, but more common as car accidents, fires where many of the volunteers and brigadiers, who need medical assistance at the scene of the incident, support ERIES ( Immediate Response teams Emergency), preventive services, etc., justify the need to be getting "closer to the people."
Canales thanked the collaboration of NISSAN, partners and collaborators and the Parador Castillo de Lorca, in the person of its director, Juanjo Asensio.
The vehicle with 4-wheel drive can access mountainous areas to address any health issues that may occur to which a conventional ambulance could not reach.
It has capacity to transport 5 people / volunteers properly trained rescuers and reach the site of the incident as soon as possible.
Among the equipment that has material include immobilization and mobilization of patients (splints, vacuum mattress, stretcher blades, bolsters, ferno ked, etc.), electro-medical equipment (digital sphygmomanometer, digital oximeter, Semi Automatic External Defibrillator " DESA "), first intervention kit (equipped with necessary for cure, Guedel airways, intravenous systems, placement of roads, dressing, fluid therapy, cold and chemical heat, thermal blankets, etc.), respiratory equipment kit (equipped with bottle of oxygen masks, nasal prongs, laryngoscope, endotracheal tubes, etc.), basic oral medication as both intravenous and intramuscular, board stops, fire extinguisher and digital radio communication equipment connected to the Provincial Coordination Center (CPC) Red Cross Region of Murcia.
This new vehicle joined the fleet that the local assembly of Lorca is available to the general population, as is an ambulance Basic Life Support, a vehicle adapted for the disabled, a van load and 3 auxiliary vehicles.
