Lorca City Council wanted to express his condolences on the passing of which was President of the Central Union of Irrigation Aqueduct Tajo-Segura, José Manuel Claver.
The Consistory recalls its strong commitment to irrigators Lorca, who found in Claver a defender of local and regional agriculture, becoming one of the best allies to the challenges and problems of the sector.
Similarly, the President of SCRATS showed his enormous generosity after the tragedy caused by the earthquakes of May 2011, when not only was made available to our town, but was also the driving force behind the reconstruction of the Convent of Santa Ana and Magdalena de Las Clarisas through solidarity penny.
From City of Lorca we want to convey to friends and family our deepest condolences to the disappearance of this exemplary man.
