No more than seven years in programming Guadalentín Sports Games and yet, Athletics Playing Street has become a classic test of the Olympics Lorca.
And this activity is an invitation for the younger ones enjoy popular sport, practice healthier outdoor physical activity and approach to the exciting world of athletics.
On Wednesday afternoon began participation Playing Athletics in the street in this edition of the Games and did as always: having fun with the sport to 150 children aged 6 to 12 years.
The test, organized by the Section Eliocroca Athletics was held in the Alameda of the Constitution which became the best stadium for the kids will enjoy this fun activity and healthy.
Participants had access to a test circuit adapted that begins with two speed tests: one running 30 meters at full speed and on the other making a tour that included five low hurdles he had to jump.
Then the long jump test, having to go as far as possible with both feet together.
After the kids were tested in the shot put, as far as possible by pulling a rubber ball.
To end was another test launch, but in this case with a javelin.
For two hours the young people have approached the world of athletics and have known new ways to engage.
But we still have more opportunities to enjoy this event, since it will be held again in the Park San Jose on September 28 and in the Vineyard on October 5.
