Antonio Meca presented at the regular full on Monday 26 September a motion on the control of small contracts in the public sector of the City of Lorca and a request to equip WIFI signal to town hall.
D. Antonio Meca Garcia, Councilman Municipal spokesperson Citizens in the city of Lorca tells us "this same motion was left on the table at the July plenary session to take it up in the plenary of September, following the request of the other municipal groups for considering our proposal important enough to study in detail by legal services, secretarial and intervention and seeking consensus of all groups ".
Minor contracts are to be awarded directly to Local Government with some amounts to EUR 50 000 for works contracts and up to 18 000 euros supply contracts.
Currently no procurement procedure is required, no advertising, no prior audit, there is no price revision are not guarantees required or may be longer than one year.
Antonio Meca clarifies "the measures proposed in the motion is to have more control and transparency in these costs, provided by posting them on the website of the City and the BORM, as has been done in other municipalities."
Moreover, the Municipal Group Citizens raise a plea in the same session to give the town hall WIFI wireless network, including units of local groups.
The mayor tells us about "providing access to the WIFI network to this same public space, the City Council, where workers and citizens daily access to all kinds of efforts, offer a service to Lorca has become paramount in today's society"
