Enriqueta Déniz Barnés, with the work titled "An intelligent expansion in my city: linking bioclimatic architecture vernacular architecture", coordinated by Ms. Esther Sanchez Perez was the winner of the first prize in the Engineering and Technology XXIX Contest Young researchers 2016. the contest is organized by the youth Institute and the Directorate General of University Policy, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport and aims to awaken research vocations among young people.
This is the most prestigious event in our country mainly by the quality of jury that selects and evaluates the work: the Higher Council for Scientific Research and professors of different specialties of Spanish Universities.
In this case, the jury president was Dr. Jose Luis Montañés García, Department of Motopropulsión and Thermal fluid, of the School of Aeronautical Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
