The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, announced that the exhibition room of the Cultural Center will host from today until 31 December the exhibition "Bethlehem of Francisco Salzillo" by the craftsman Antonio Pérez Bayonas.
Llamas stressed that "at 1930 hours the exhibition will be inaugurated with which this renowned pyrographer honors Maestro Salzillo and especially his famous nativity scenes. The exhibition also includes acrylic drawings that complement the exposed pyrograbates."
Antonio Pérez Bayonas, after his retirement as a teacher of special education, has become an outstanding craftsman of marquetry and pyrography.
He has exhibited in different spaces of exhibitions of Murcia, emphasizing between his works the inspired ones in sculptures of Salzillo that has portrayed through the pyrograbado.
