The Councilor of Commerce of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, together with the President of the Regional Union of Merchants Lorca, Juan Montoya, have presented the program of activities that the merchants of the municipality will perform during Christmas.
They have been accompanied by the presidents of the commercial areas Corredera and Historic Center, Héctor Villaroel, El Barrio-Avenida Europa, Antonio Martínez, Lorca Center, Ester Marín, and La Viña-Lorca Sur, Mari Ángeles Callejón.
Bayonas has highlighted that "the different commercial areas of the city have prepared a full agenda loaded with initiatives to boost purchases during Christmas that, at the same time, benefit Lorca because they create an environment conducive to enjoy these special days. Activities of all kinds, solidarity, games for children and also initiatives that will be carried out in all areas, such as window dressing. We talked about more than a dozen activities, many of them in collaboration with other organizations, with which The merchants will celebrate Christmas and offer the right framework to enjoy while we make our purchases.
In the El Barrio-Europa Commercial Area there will be a homogeneous decoration that will be shared by the different shops.
In addition, on January 5 at 12 o'clock Their Majesties the Three Kings will visit this commercial area, in an activity in collaboration with the Paso Incarnado.
The different establishments of the El Carmen Commercial Area will have special homogeneous Christmas decorations.
In the commercial area Corredera-Historic Center is already listening to ambient music that will sound until January 5.
On the 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st and 23rd, the "Street Shops" initiative will be held between 10 and 13:30 on Calle Pío XII.
On January 4 will be held the drawing of a spectacular Christmas basket, the largest of all Lorca.
In collaboration with other organizations, initiatives will be developed such as the sale of chocolate "Lévatelo calentito" of the Federation of Women Organizations of Lorca, on December 23 from 12 to 21 hours at the crossing of Almirante Aguilar with Corredera;
The same day, but at 17.30 in Pío XII, this group will launch the Cuenti-Clown.
Also on December 23 between 17 and 21 hours will be launched a solidarity collection of toys, clothing and food whose beneficiaries will be The Good Way, Red Cross and Parados Lorca;
The same will be on Calle Alporchones.
On January 3 the Paso Blanco Youth Association will carry out children's activities that will include the visit of the Royal Postman from 5 pm.
The 4 will be the Blue Pass which will lead the day with the Parade of the Royal Paje, who will visit the Corredera on his dromedary starting at 19 hours.
The La Viña-Lorca Sur Area will carry out a street decoration featuring children from the neighborhood.
This Saturday, July 17, from 12 to 14 hours, there will be musical animation with the celebration of a parade by the Choir of the Brotherhood Rociera de Lorca, while on December 21 will be presented the prizes of the Christmas drawings contest.
In addition, on January 3 between 16.30 and 19 hours there will be a cavalcade with children.
The Carretera de Águilas Commercial Area will carry out the drawing of a Christmas basket.
In the Area Lorca Center will receive the visit of Santa Claus and his pixies on 23 December between 18:30 and 21 hours.

Finally, the Puente La Pía-Virgen de las Huertas Commercial Area celebrated last weekend a solidarity market whose collection will be delivered to APAT Lorca next week.
