The Councilor of Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustin Llamas, together with the President of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users, Carmina Reverte, have presented the IV Christmas Concert organized by this group and which has the collaboration of the City Council of Lorca.

They were accompanied in the presentation by the director of the Municipal Band of Music, Antonio Manzanera, and the director of Cáritas Lorca, Lázaro Caballero.

Llamas has announced that "for the fourth year the Association of Housewives offers us this concert that is great in cultural and human. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the performance of the illustrious Municipal Music Band of Lorca and The Coral Santa Cecilia, but also we can collaborate with Caritas Lorca delivering food or toys that will be distributed among the most needy people in the municipality, so it is an event as attractive as solidarity.

The Extraordinary Christmas Concert of the Housewives will be held on Tuesday, December 27th at 8pm at the Teatro Guerra.

In the first place will participate the Municipal Band of Music, directed by Antonio Manzanera.

Next, the Santa Cecilia Choir, directed by Jesús Jódar and composed of almost 40 members will play popular carols.

To finish the show both formations will join to sing a compendium of Christmas songs that will put the finishing touch to this special concert.

The entrance to the Extraordinary Christmas Concert is free, but whoever wishes can deliver non-perishable food or toys that Caritas will collect at the entrance and that will later distribute among the families most in need.

Llamas wanted to congratulate "the Association of Housewives of Lorca for the great work they always develop and to organize once again this long awaited concert. With the celebration of its fourth edition is fully consolidated in the Christmas calendar and becomes I would also like to congratulate you for the Municipal Band, for the Santa Cecilia Choir and for Caritas for contributing to the performance of this show I would also like to encourage Lorca to come to the concert and support this solidarity initiative.
