The Mater Dolorosa Musical Group, next to the Choir of the Blue Step, will offer next Thursday at 20.30 a Solidarity Christmas Concert for the benefit of Red Cross Youth.
The event, already consolidated in the social and cultural calendar of Lorca, will be celebrated in the incomparable setting offered by the church of San Francisco.
During the first part of the concert, the Musical Group under the direction of José Miñarro Carrasco will perform solo.
They will perform compositions such as "Immortal" by Thomas Bergersen, the BSO of the film Ghost by Maurice Jarre and the "Concert for piano and marimba" by Emmanuel Séjourne, specifically the First Movement in which the pianist will be María del Amor Miñarro Sánchez, while José Miñarro Sánchez will play the marimba.
Also will sound "Forever stripped" by José María Sánchez Martín and Las Caretas.
In this part will premiere the own march "Your love, my passion", composed by the famous Sevillian composer Agustín Castro.
In the second part the Choir of the Blue Step will join the Mater Dolorosa Musical Grouping to play popular carols such as "Bell on bell", "Jingle Bells", "Night of Peace" or "Merry Christmas", to finish with the hymn of The Blessed Virgin of Sorrows.
Attendees will be able to bring their toys that will be collected by Red Cross to be delivered to the most disadvantaged, making the event a full act of solidarity.
For this reason the Blue Passage encourages all Lorca, regardless of the color they feel, to participate in this initiative so supportive with which you can help the most disadvantaged while enjoying a great musical evening.
