The polygon, in whose management the Info participates, maintains a campaign of promotion to promote the reindustrialization of the zone with bonuses of up to 40 percent in the price of the ground

The Saprelorca industrial estate maintains its pace of growth with the next installation of an agri-food company that will create about 40 jobs.

The management board of the Promotion and Equipment Society of Lorca, the company that is in charge of the management of the polygon and of which the Institute of Development is part, today approved the sale of the land on which the new project will be located .

The new company has acquired two parcels totaling 7,379 square meters and reserves a purchase option for the acquisition of another 21,473 square meters.

"This investment, which will be around 3.5 million euros, will attract new companies in the agri-food sector and its derivatives and open the door to collaboration and the generation of synergies with companies from other sectors," explained the director of Info and member of the Board of directors of Saprelorca, Javier Celdrán.

The sale is part of the promotional campaign launched this summer to boost the reindustrialization of the area, which has sold 67,793 square meters divided into 22 plots, of which are committed about 35 percent , And includes bonuses of up to 40 percent in the price of the plots of the polygon.

With the arrival of this project, the industrial estate Saprelorca reaches an occupation close to 220 companies in which more than 2,500 people work.

32.9 per cent of these companies are manufacturing industries and 29.4 per cent are engaged in trade, while 18.9 per cent serve other companies;

11.2 percent are in the construction and real estate sector and 7.6 percent are active in the automotive sector.

The director of the Info said that this campaign is integrated in turn in the regional strategy to boost the industrial sector.

"We are working to make the region an area of ​​economic freedom, taking measures that attract productive investments such as this that allow us to continue generating employment and raise the weight of industry to 20 percent of regional GDP," said Javier Celdrán.
