Martín has demanded the mayor, Francisco Jódar, to show his frontal rejection of this pretension of the Directorate General of the Civil Guard and to exert the necessary pressure to avoid the closure of the only infrastructure that, in the area of citizen security, is located In the north of the municipality serving.
In that sense, he reminded the first mayor of his historic claim, when he was in the opposition, to "equip the Benemérita with more human and material resources to meet the needs of such a large locality.
The councilor of IU-Greens has assured that it is an "essential" service to guarantee the safety of the inhabitants of the high districts and has lamented the "permanent punishment" that is violated to the neighbors of the rural environment through the reduction System of public services.
"Only in La Paca where the PP closed a local police headquarters shortly after reaching the mayor's office have been recorded eight thefts in housing and pigs in the last month," said Martin, who ensures that neighbors feel "Absolutely unprotected" and complain that there are no patrol agents in the area.
In that sense, the Councilor of United Left Greens also mentioned the investment of 700,000 euros, in 2014, for the construction of a new Local Police headquarters in Zarcilla de Ramos that should have a staff of ten agents, one Corporal and a sergeant "who shine by his absence".
The same happens in the similar infrastructures that were built in La Hoya, Purias, Almendricos and Ramonete with a global investment of 1.2 million euros.
