The City Council thanks the Department of Early Care, dependent on the Department of Social Policy, a specialized service to the population of children between 0 and 6 years old, as well as their families and the environment when children have developmental alterations or are at risk Of suffering them at a bio-psychological or socio-environmental level.

The current facilities of the Municipal Early Warning Center have state-of-the-art resources a multi-sensory room unselfishly provided by the Rotary Club of Valencia.
Thanks to this treatment is given to children from 0 to 6 years who present sensory alterations and / or movement problems (cerebral palsy, muscle stiffness, decreased mobility, visual or auditory problems, among others).
This room has specialized material that allows you to work on stimuli at the sensory level, enhancing and developing the touch, hearing or vision.
This room has water bed, bubble tube, fiber optic tubes, stereo and touch screen.
The Municipal Center has a Director, a psychologist, a social worker, 3 physiotherapists, 4 speech therapists and 4 technicians in early care.
The activities carried out are home care, speech therapy, physiotherapy, global intervention, social work, psychological intervention, psychopedagogical support, hydrotherapy, psychomotricity, family intervention, assessment, evaluation, diagnostic hypothesis and programming.
The activity that the City takes to term through this service is distributed in 6 main lines as they are:
Research: agreements with University of Murcia and University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
Training: permanent training in courses, conferences, congresses and Masters.
Teaching: lectures, communications and direction of university courses.
Practices tutored in the Master and Degree of the UMU.
Workshops for families: infant massage, baby gymnastics, myofunctional workshop (preventive groups and 3-6 years) and workshop of seats, pelvic moldings and bipedestadores.
Other activities: water festival, Storytelling and leisure program for children with intellectual disabilities.
