Mateos has expressed his concern about the delays that accumulate both projects, due to the irregularities that slowed the adjudication of the works, in the case of section 1 of Central Round, and to the manifest detachment of the Popular Party with respect to the polygon of the Health, whose Urban regeneration was forgotten

The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has once again expressed concern about the endless delays that accumulate the construction of the Central Round Evacuation of Lorca, and urban regeneration works of the polygon La Salud-Cristo Rey, for whom he insisted on demanding that administrative procedures be speeded up to unlock the start of these works once and for all.

In the case of the Central Round, as has been denounced by the Socialist Spokesman, the processing of the contract award dossier 1 continues to accumulate "months and months" of delay.

Specifically, "there are already more than 13 months that have been used to complete the processing of this file" which, he recalls, was paralyzed due to a series of irregularities that came to be estimated by the Central Administrative Court of Contract Resources, And forced to return to the fasede valuation of offers.

Therefore, taking into account that the start was published in December 2015, the file has been processed for more than 1 year and work has not started.

From the Socialist Group they insist to the Popular Party in imposing "maximum transparency" on the processes of adjudication of these works, precisely in order not to repeat new irregularities like those that keep paralyzed this project so important for the development of the city.

In fact, as it has been recalled, the delays in the processing of the tranche of the section 1 have made it coincide with the processing of section 2, about which from the PSOE they expect that "both projects, independent of each other in terms of their award Get to interfere with each other. "

However, in view of the continuing lack of knowledge of the reasons why the execution of this project, the stretch of July 2, the month in which the tenders were opened, remains unrecognized, Mateos regrets that "Again, the obscurantism and silence of those responsible for the Popular Party continues to dominate works sadly sprinkled by the shadow of suspicion."

For this reason, the Socialist Spokesman has announced initiatives in the Regional Assembly to obtain information on this.

As for the works of urban regeneration of La Salud-Cristo Rey's polygon, Mateos laments that "nothing has been known" since the offers presented by the different companies on September 26 of a project of works that Remembers "by neglect of the Popular Party and in a totally incomprehensible way, they were forgotten."

The PSOE Spokesman has once again reproached the Popular Party for its incompetence "by forgetting the renovation of the block that supposes La Salud-Cristo Rey, while the works of the neighboring neighborhoods of La Viña and Alfonso X were executed."
