Plenary agreements in general and motions adopted in Plenary in particular, are mandatory mandates for all political groups, especially for the group in the municipal government, which holds the executive power.
Since the inauguration of this Plenary, numerous motions have been approved with the support of all the political groups, and we welcome this.
In councilman explains: "our Municipal Group is very concerned about the application of the content of each and every one of the approved motions and other plenary agreements."
Compliance with plenary agreements is an act of political coherence, responsibility and respect for citizenship.
Fulfilling these agreements is also an opportunity to improve the quality of local democracy and efficiency in public management, making the work of all municipal groups profitable in the general interest.
Since the beginning of this legislature, there are numerous motions that the various Municipal Groups have submitted, having been approved by the Plenary some of them.
In the great majority of cases, after the approval of the corresponding motion, we have not learned anything about it.
Antonio Meca gives us some examples: "These are some of the agreements of the motions presented by this Municipal Group, with scope of local action, which were approved:
A study commission for the water and waste tariff system should be created.
Global strategy of the municipality that promotes and supports the educational communities of schools, in the prevention and care of school bullying.
Provide with external defibrillator ¨DESA¨ to all municipal sports facilities.
Processing of minor contracts.
Installation of the necessary measures of road safety.
Create a program of extracurricular activities.
Fight against the submerged economy and unfair competition.
Adhere to the European Charter for Equality of Men and Women in Local Life.
From the municipal group Citizens we want the Government Team to commit to urgently and as soon as possible the plenary agreements in the terms set forth in the Law. "
