The regional government, through the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, has agreed with the Ministry of Public Works and the City of Lorca to promote the final measures of reconstruction and economic dynamization of the city.
The secretary general of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructures, Yolanda Muñoz, participated today in Madrid in a working meeting, chaired by the undersecretary of Public Works, Rosana Navarro, and attended by the Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Sánchez-Solís, and Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jódar, for the monitoring and coordination of all the actions carried out by the three administrations in the reconstruction of Lorca.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Development of the Government of the Region of Murcia, Yolanda Muñoz, stressed the "important contribution of the regional government to the recovery of Lorca, where it will invest more than 345 million euros."
Of this amount, 214.6 million (62 percent) will go to reconstruction of neighborhoods and housing and aid for the affected families, and the rest for the improvement and renovation of highways, fire station, educational, sanitary, sports infrastructures, Cultural and elderly.
In this regard, Muñoz said that "the State Administration has allocated 815 million euros to the reconstruction and economic recovery of Lorca" and, among other things, remarked that "almost all 16,000 applications for aid for rehabilitation, repair and Reconstruction of housing financed by the Ministry of Development and Interior and by the regional government have been resolved. "
