"Yesterday we had knowledge through the media of the existence of two bills charged to the Municipal Group whose concepts and services generate doubts about its application," explains the councilman.
In July 2016 the municipal group presented to the intervention services of this City Council the accounts for its control and revision.
Seven months later they have no communication from those who are responsible for the audit, no irregularities in the accounts.
If they had been warned of any incidents, they would have had a period of cure provided for by law.
Today they have submitted a brief addressed to Mr. Mayor requesting a report on the incidence in the media, in order to officially know if there has been an irregularity, which if produced would be remedied immediately.
Mecca tells us: "We want to emphasize that we have been the first municipal group and may be unique in voluntarily submitting our accounts precisely so that they are inspected and controlled with maximum transparency."
The municipal group Citizens also has requested to the intervention services a report on the accounting of the other municipal groups, including copy of all the invoices paid by all them.
