The Senator Lorca will raise in the National Congress of the Popular Party that legal assistance in the office shift requires a fair return on their work.

The Lorca Senator of the Popular Party, Fulgencio Gil, has informed that the National Congress of the PP, which begins tomorrow in Madrid, will include a recognition of the work of legal operators, given their importance in the functioning of the Social and Democratic State Of Law.

Attention is drawn to the concrete need to establish a fair remuneration for their work in the field of official duty and free legal aid.

We are talking about a fundamental pillar of the defense of the rights and freedoms of citizens in situations of greater vulnerability and with fewer resources.

Fulgencio Gil has stated that it is necessary to mention specifically the professional groups involved in the matter, as a fundamental part of the Administration of Justice.

This amendment is an addendum to Article 81 of the section entitled "A freer society, Justice and Security".

The aim is to streamline both the procedure for processing legal aid and the payment of the corresponding subsidies to professional associations.

The Senator Lorca has stated in this meeting that the normative project in which progress is being made to finalize the Organic Law of the Right to Defense will improve the mechanisms to protect the rights of citizens before the Justice, and the reform of the Law of Criminal prosecution that will give the prosecutor the direction of the investigation phase.
